* These establishments are primarily focused on adult entertainment, featuring dancers who perform scantily clad or nude.

* The atmosphere in these venues is typically more focused on visual performances and can range from casual to more luxurious.

* While some may offer food and drinks, the primary purpose is adult entertainment.

Therefore, when you hear the term "gentleman's club" , it's important to consider the context to understand whether it refers to a traditional private social club or a strip club.
